Visit Prescott College

Prescott College invites visitors to campus throughout the year. We encourage visitors interested in the Resident Degree Program to come to campus during the academic quarters (October to December and February to May) when students and faculty are on campus. Faculty are available year-round to welcome students interested in the Adult Degree Program or Master of Arts Program. To facilitate a visit to campus, please call the Admissions Office at 877-350-2100 to schedule a personal tour.

Getting to Prescott College

From Phoenix, you can take a commuter flight or a van shuttle into town, or you can rent a car. The airlines and airport shuttle both require advance reservations—contact numbers are listed below.

Prescott is approximately 100 miles northwest of Phoenix (two hours by car). Take I-17 north to Highway 69 north into Prescott. Once in Prescott, continue west through town on Gurley Street to Grove Avenue. Turn right on Grove and proceed two blocks north to the Admissions Office at 302 Grove Avenue (at the light, on the corner of Grove Avenue and Sheldon Street). Parking is available next to the Admissions building.

From Flagstaff, you can arrange for a rental car or take a van shuttle. Prescott is approximately 100 miles southwest of Flagstaff (2 hours by car). Take I-17 south to the Highway 169 exit toward Dewey. Turn right on Highway 69 north to Prescott. Once in Prescott, continue west through town on Gurley Street to Grove Avenue. Turn right on Grove and proceed two blocks north to the Admissions Office at 306 Grove Avenue (one building north of the Grove and Sheldon intersection). Parking is available next to the Student Services building, at the corner.

Getting to the Tucson Center

The Tucson Center of Prescott College is conveniently located at 2233 E. Speedway Blvd., just a few blocks east of the University of Arizona campus. From I-17, take Speedway Blvd. east. Parking is available next to the Center.

Weather
The Prescott climate is fairly temperate all year. Summers average 80°F with a maximum average high in the lower 90s and evening lows in the 50s. Winter averages run from 50°F for a daytime high, down to nighttime and early mornings lows in the single digits. The spring and fall seasons are characterized by cold mornings and evenings with pleasant warm afternoons. Visit the Weather Channel for up-to-date conditions.
