Program Director - 2008-2014, Hofstra University, Hempstead, NY., Creative Arts Therapy Graduate Program, Coordinate and administer graduate level programming including student recruitment and admissions, faculty recruitment and supervision, course development, internship placements and contract maintenance, administration, and instruction.

Adjunct Professor - 2000-2015, Hofstra University, Hempstead, NY., Develop and instruct various courses in Creative Arts Therapy, Counseling, and Special Education programs at the graduate level.

ADMINITRATION:

School Administrator/ Assistant Principal - 2001-2011, The Children’s Learning Center at ucpn, Roosevelt, NY., Coordinate all aspects of the Early Intervention program, supervise faculty, oversee creative arts therapy programming, plan and implement professional development schedules for all faculty and staff, assist with staff placements, interview and complete hiring procedures for creative arts therapy, teaching assistant and teacher aide positions, track and distribute employee evaluations for all staff, facilitate annual review meetings with families and school districts, act as a visitor liaison during special events, direct special projects and facilitate meetings as assigned.

Director of Recreation/ Art Therapist -1996-1999, Queens-Nassau Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Program, Far Rockaway, NY., Develop and facilitate art therapy programs for this facility and sister facility,Park Terrace Care Center, Traumatic Brain Injury Rehabilitation Programs. Provide professional development in art therapy, participate in behavioral objective planning and crisis management teams, coordinate and supervise all recreational and social events for 200-bed facility, supervise department employees, maintain employee schedules, calendar of events, resident excursions, seasonal and daily departmental activities. Administrative responsibilities including initial assessments and quarterly progress notes on all clients, quality assurance reports, staff evaluations, and inter-departmental relations.
