Welcome from the PCAA Board President

William Butler Cooper, RDP '91

I became involved with the Prescott College Alumni Association because I loved my time at Prescott College. I developed a strong foundation of learning and embarked upon the beginning of a life long journey.  I was able to see the world with the College's help and make life long friends. There is not a corner on the globe where I don't know someone. I married Karen Dismukes, a fellow alumni, and we often travel throughout the country seeing friends from Prescott College. Our friendships are not affected by time or distance. Regardless of chosen studies, as Prescott College alumni we share the common bond of adventure. Sleeping under the stars in the Arizona mountains and canyons is an awesome experience no matter where in the world you have been. I had many great experiences all through the western US, Mexico, South Pacific, Europe, and Asia with the College. These experiences will be with me forever; stories that captive any audience.

The adventure doesn't stop after college. Prescott College alumni are active people.  As President of the PCAA, I will create places to share and acknowledge the people and experiences.  There are many important issues we can address as an alumni community. But first, we must all make a strong effort to stay connected to each other in order to continue the conscious awareness that Prescott College has instilled in each of us.

How do I join the PCAA?

Every individual that has ever graduated from or attended classes at Prescott College (RDP, ADP, MAP) is considered an alumnus and has active membership status in the Prescott College Alumni Association (PCAA). Members of the PCAA enjoy benefits such as voting for the PCAA Board of Directors (and a chance to be a board member!), in addition to inclusion in the PCAA Alumni Directory.

Although we do not accept dues for membership into the Prescott College Alumni Association,we do encourage you to support the Annual Scholarship Fund. Your generosity will ensure that current students can benefit from the unique experience and expertise Prescott College offers.  Your gift is dedicated to student scholarships.  Last fiscal year, donors like you contributed approximately $250,000 towards helping students realize their dreams and goals.  You can take pride in knowing you can touch someone's life and make a difference.
