Thank you for a great 2003!
It's been a wonderful year in the Alumni Office with heightened alumni
activity, support, and enthusiasm. Thanks to all of you who have been
involved this past year through your volunteer work, board
service, or attendance at a regional
gathering or Coming Home Weekend.
Please keep and eye out for
the 2004 Presott College Annual Fund calendar designed by alumna Wendy
Bauer Piersall (RDP '92), founder and creative genius behind
the Chicago-based design firm Aminion.
I hope that you like the new look and format of the calendar, and encourage
you to support the College this year!
My best to all of you, and happy
holidays from all of us here in Prescott!

You
Can Help
You
can make a real difference in someone's life. 1977 Prescott College

for a suitable donor. Suitable donors need to have blood type A or O and
be in excellent health. Potential donors will receive an extensive
series of tests and health screenings at no cost to the donor. Read

Howdy to y'all Prescott Alumni.
I now live in sunny Portland, Oregon and have found my passions shift
into property management. I've been
learning the tricks of the trade over the past few months and am slowly
building the empire. If anyone would like to apply those interpersonal
communication skills learned at PC, feel free to visit anytime... preferably around
the first of the month. Also, I am very excited about the new Crossroads
Center at PC and hope everyone has taken the chance to learn more about
it on the website (www.prescott.edu/crossroads).
I would like to challenge the class of 2000 to be the largest contributors
to this cause. I hope you all are well. Please stay in touch. rlevenick@yahoo.com

Hello to all of the class of
2002. I am now working as a recruitment specialist at Yavapai College.
On November the 8th my wife and I had a baby boy in the small town of
Cottonwood. My life seems to be in full swing and I look forward to
getting a masters in Marketing in the near future.

I am working as a wildlife biologist
for the Makah Tribe on the tip of the Olympic Peninsula. I am doing marbled
murrelet, spotted owl, elk, vegetation, and deer surveys and capture work.
It is great work, and I am enjoying being near the sea and mountains.
I do miss the southwest though!

Although only at Prescott for
3 semesters, it had a profound impact on my path. I studied Agroecology
and Environmental Education and completed my thesis to graduate with honors
from Pitzer College. Just as important, I met my husband, Brian Gitt,
a Prescott College student as well. I work for the Marin Food Systems
Project working to promote sustainable ag and connections between local
farms and the community through education. Brian works in green building
and design. Together we raise Marcus, Brian's son, who is a wonderful
teacher.

Very shortly after graduating
from the Prescott MAP program in December 2002, I found out I would soon
be taking on the greatest challenge of my life...a new baby! Avery Emilyn
Matera was born on October 27th, 2003 to myself and my partner Justin
Matera in Denver, CO. She is the most amazing and wonderful little person,
and I am so looking forward to this new journey!
