How to Apply
Limited-Residency Master of Arts Programs
The following application requirements are for the following areas of study: Adventure Education, Education, Environmental Studies, and Humanities (creative or expressive arts see specific instructions below.) The application process will be considered complete when the applicant has submitted all the required items. Applicants to the Equine-assisted Learning concentrations and Teacher-Preparation or School Guidance Counseling concentrations, please refer to the special admissions requirements listed below. Applicants to the Counseling Psychology program please refer to the Application Requirements found in the Limited-Residency Master of Arts Counseling Psychology Program section.

Transcripts
The Prescott College Limited-Residency Master of Arts Program requires applicants to submit the official undergraduate and graduate transcripts of each regionally accredited institution attended since high school.
Submit official transcripts directly to Admissions. Official transcripts can be submitted electronically by the issuing institution via Scrip-Safe . Please ask if your college/university offers this service.
Applicants may submit official transcripts if they are received by Admissions in a sealed envelope from the issuing institution.

Special Admissions Requirements
Equine-assisted Learning (EAL)
In addition to the standard Limited-Residency Master of Arts program application requirements, EAL concentration applicants are expected to show evidence of competence and practical experience of working with horses, facilitation/teaching, and in relational horsemanship. Potential students need to provide documentation that they bring with them an understanding of the field and an entry-level competence, which may be evidenced in many ways including, but not limited to, peer or expert evaluations, testimonies, published articles, program participant evaluations, or self-reflection. Core faculty will review your application information, and a phone interview will be scheduled if it is determined that you would be a good candidate for the program.
Creative or Expressive Arts
In addition to the standard Limited-Residency Master of Arts program application requirements, Creative or Expressive Arts applicants are required to submit a portfolio as a demonstration of their work. Teacher Preparation and School Guidance Counseling
Complete the Personal Statement and Academic Focus Essays with educational and employment in the educational field focus.
