Camille is a graduate of Lesley University, a board certified, registered art therapist and a licensed professional counselor in Arizona. She has focused her professional practice of 20+ years on using creative expression to empower others in achieving their personal potential. Camille has concentrated her efforts in the area of psychiatric disability, speaking nationally and internationally about the power of creative expression in recovery. Previous teaching experience includes art therapy courses for ASU, South Mountain Community College and UCSD-Extension. Camille was also instrumental in the growth and development of the PSA program, Art Awakenings in Phoenix and surrounding counties, where she served as clinical director from 2001-2005. Since  2006, Camille has been the Associate Faculty for the Expressive Art Therapy concentration within the Counseling Psychology degree program and director of the Expressive Art Therapy Summer Institute held annually at Prescott College. Camille also serves as a graduate mentor/instructor for CP, Humanities and Education students in the MAP program.  Camille  served as the interim Chair of Counseling Psychology from March of 2009 until March of 2010 and September 2010 until July 2011.

Professional and personal interests converge in the areas of Mindfulness and Expressive Art Therapy.  Camille maintains an on-going committment to her own creativity which invovles painting, drawing, clay work and mixed media; dance and poetry.  Camille believes that arts based learning and the inclusion of  responsive art making in all EAT program courses  is an essential element to training in Expressive Art Therapy.
