Gretchen Hoffman is the Manager of Engagement and Communications at American Farmland Trust in Washington D.C., where she manages e-mail communications, online fundraising, national engagement campaigns, and audience analysis. In 2009, she coordinated the launch of the first-ever America's Favorite Farmers Markets contest, which has since reached more than 1,300 farmers markets and 60,000 farmers market shoppers.
Gretchen finds this an exciting time to work on projects that bring together local food system planning, farmland preservation, environmental issues and public health.
