Capital Fund

Dan Garvey at Crossroads Center GroundbreakingFor the first time since it opened the doors of its original campus, Prescott College has announced a Capital Campaign. Approved by unanimous Trustee vote at the January 2003 board meeting, the Campaign will raise $3 million for design and construction of the Prescott College Crossroads Center. The campaign was officially launched on May 31, 2003, by Board Chairman Jerry Secundy, who announced initial gifts to the project of more than $350,000.

Once complete, the Crossroads Center will boast a number of firsts for the College. The first new structure on the College’s recycled urban campus, it will be the result of the school’s first major coordinated fundraising effort for a building project. Alumni, parents, and past supporters of Prescott College will receive a special DVD invitation to join in supporting the Crossroads Center project, and all friends of the College are invited to take part in this milestone project.

There are few gifts you can make to any non-profit organization that will have a greater impact on higher education, on Prescott College, and on our small planet, which is in increasingly better hands with the graduation of each successive class of Prescott College graduates.

5 for 5 for the Crossroads Center5 for 5 for the Crossroads Center

The 5 for 5 Alumni Giving Campaign for the Crossroads Center is a collaborative endeavor between the PCAA Board of Directors and Prescott College Development Office to have all alumni participate in supporting the new Crossroads Center being built on campus.  If every alumnus of Prescott College donated just $5 per month for 5 years, the Crossroads Center would be fully funded by alumni support alone! Imagine the legacy that alumni can bestow to current and future generations of students through their support of this milestone project.
