From All Prescott College Alumni and Current Students
The new Crossroads Center is a rammed earth, glass, and steel building complex on the Prescott College campus. Current students and alumni are invited to submit design entries for the mosaics in the two sets of public restrooms in the complex. Each restroom will have mosaic designs done in granite, colored glass, and natural stone on the walls and floors. These mosaics will be installed by Don Routson in June and July. The theme of the designs should relate to the Prescott College mission statement, for instance "The Southwest is Our Classroom". Submissions in watercolor designs, photographs, or two-dimensional mediums should be in a format size not larger than 16" X 20". One to three entries may be submitted, and could include designs for an entire restroom (four walls and the floor) or for a single wall. The dimensions of each restroom are available in the right column of this page and may be viewed online or printed from the PDF version. We anticipate that the Library restrooms will be designed by current students and the café restrooms will be designed by alumni.
Entry Deadline: Extended to April 15, 2004
