Six Schools Join Forces to Create the Eco League

The Eco League is a consortium of six colleges and universities that share similar missions and value systems based on environmental responsibility, social change and educating students to build a sustainable future. The Eco League consists of small liberal arts institutions with strong programs in environmental science, marine biology, outdoor studies, education and other academic programs. These colleges all stress experiential education so that students are prepared to take on real world challenges when they graduate.

How the Eco League Works

• Eco League exchanges are open to students studying any academic area.
• Prescott College students may spend up to two non-sequential semesters at Eco League institutions during their sophomore and junior years.
• Students continue to pay full-time tuition to their home institution. Lab, course fees and room and board are paid to the institution the student is visiting. Travel costs are covered by the student.
• Credits earned at Eco League institutions are transferred back to the home institution.
• There is no application for students interested in attending an Eco League institution; however, students must fill out an "Intent to Participate" form.
• Students are expected to return to their home institution upon completion of the Eco League semester(s).

Priority Dates for Eco-League Registration

Priority Date for Registration:

• Fall 2008 – April 9, 2008

Deadline for Registration: 

• Fall 2008 – July 11, 2008  

(Note that students who submit all materials by the priority date will be allowed to register with the same priority as a Prescott College student with the same class standing.)

Eco-League Participation Forms

Please fill out all 4 forms and submit to the Prescott College Office of the Registrar along with an unofficial transcript from your home school.

(Incomplete submissions will not be processed).
