Leaders Today, Leaders Tomorrow Tri-College Student Leadership Conference
Prescott College, Yavapai College, and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University will host “Leaders Today, Leaders Tomorrow,” the first tri-college student leadership conference at the ERAU Davis Learning Center (3700 Willow Creek Rd) 6-9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 21, and 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Saturday Oct. 22. The 2011 Leadership Conference is open to students from Prescott College, Yavapai College, and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
Besides developing valuable leadership skills and gaining a leadership certificate, students from all three colleges will also have a chance to connect and have fun at an ice cream social complete with a comedian, Seaton Smith. The featured keynote speaker is Ms. Kurstin Lee, Advisory Board member for Hugh O'Brian Youth Leadership of Arizona (http://www.hoby.org/). The conference will also include a Presidential Panel featuring all three of the local college’s executives including: Dr. Kristin R. Woolever (Prescott College, President), Dr. Penny Wills (Yavapai College, President), and Dr. Ayers (Embry-Riddle’s Executive Vice President for the Prescott campus).
