Food sovereignty and crop revitalization in Bolivia

After completing his degree at Prescott College, Kyle went to Bolivia as an intern with La Paz on Foot. In 2008 he started a masters degree at Oregon State University in Applied Anthropology. His thesis is on food sovereignty and in-situ crop "revitalization" projects of racacha and jamach'i'peque in the Yungas of Bolivia. During his six months of field research he also worked as an Ecology instructor at the UAC Carmen Pampa. He is scheduled to defend his thesis shortly.
