Prescott College hosts graduation ceremonies and on-campus baccalaureate every December and May, at the end of the fall and spring semesters.  Specific dates, times, and other important information are listed below.

Prescott College Graduates go on to do amazing things all across the world, making us proud, building communities, protecting our environment, and raising awareness. They can be found at every level of government, and applying their heart and soul in many NGOs, and private enterprises.

Prescott College hosts graduation ceremonies and on-campus baccalaureate twice a year at the end of the fall and spring semesters. Current students and guests of graduates are highly encouraged to see the amazing work that our senior students have embarked on.   Without exception the baccalaureate presentations have inspired audiences of all ages and backgrounds.

Prescott College hosts graduation ceremonies and on-campus baccalaureate twice a year at the end of the fall and spring semesters.  The dates for the programs and other important information are listed below. 

Prescott College Graduates go on to do amazing things all across the world.  Our graduates can be found at every level of government, and applying their heart and soul in many NGOs, and private enterprises, making us proud, building communities, protecting our environment, raising awareness. Information for graduates and their guests:

  • The ceremony will be held at the Prescott College, Crossroads Center, 220 Grove Avenue, Prescott, AZ 86301. Parking passes are not required.
  • Prescott College requests that graduates limit the number of guests to five (5) people due to limited space.  Guests should plan to arrive at the graduation site at 9:30 a.m.
  • The ceremony will be filmed, and students will have access to the graduation ceremony recording if desired. Please contact the Prescott College Media Center at media.center@prescott.edu for details.

 Information for graduates:

  • Please arrive by 9 am, to greet your faculty presenter, enjoy a light snack and mingle with your fellow graduates.
  • When you arrive, please be sure to check-in at the Registrar’s table. You will be presented with a graduation medallion which you are encouraged to wear for the ceremony.
  • Please make sure your guests arrive at 9:30 a.m. so that they can be seated well before the ceremony starts. Prescott College requests that you limit the number of graduation guests to five (5) people due to limited space.
  • Please communicate directly with the Faculty/Instructor/Mentor that you wish to present you, well in advance of the actual graduation ceremony!  You must report who your faculty presenter will be.
  • Each graduate will have the opportunity to speak. Please prepare a one-minute (or less) speech that expresses what you would like to share with the audience. This time limit is strictly enforced. Practice your speech to ensure you will not be asked to stop talking in the middle of it. You might take this time to share what you gained from your education at Prescott College. This is your chance to shine; take advantage of it!
  • President John Flicker will confer all the degrees at the end of the ceremony. We encourage all graduates and audience members to stay until all degrees are conferred out of respect for all participants.
  • Graduation regalia is not required at Prescott College, however, if you chose to wear regalia, you may purchase from the vendor below. If you choose not to wear regalia, please dress in a manner that well represents you and Prescott College.

Students have the option to order graduation announcements directly from a printer. This process allows students the opportunity to design their own announcements and customize them however they would like. Students are not required to order graduation announcements. Therefore, if you are not interested in ordering any announcements, you may disregard this notice.

Graduation Regalia

Graduation regalia is not required at Prescott College, however, if you chose to wear regalia, it is available for all programs with various options available.  If you choose not to wear regalia, please dress in a manner that well represents you and Prescott College. Regalia orders are requested to be placed 1-2 months prior to graduation in order to arrive in time for the ceremony.  Order Information:  The Prescott College Bookstore no longer carries graduation regalia. All caps, gowns, hoods, and tassels must be ordered directly from Oak Hall Cap & Gown. To place an order for graduation regalia, please visit the Oak Hall Cap & Gown Prescott College webpage.  To ask questions regarding graduation regalia, please contact them by phone (1-800-223-0429) or via the Oak Hall Website.
