Accreditation

Prescott College offers accredited programs in both resident and limited-residency (distance) education delivery at the bachelor, master, and doctoral levels and is regionally accredited by The Higher Learning Commission and a member of the North Central Association: (800) 621-7440.

The College is licensed to offer all degrees by the Arizona State Board for Private Postsecondary Education .
All teacher preparation programs offered by the College are evaluated by the Arizona Department of Education and approved by the Arizona State Board of Education .
 All programs are accredited by the Association for Experiential Education .

For the HLC site visit in November of 2009, Prescott College undertook an extensive examination of the current state of the College. This culminated in the creation of a Higher Learning Commission self study, as required by the reaccreditation process. Prescott College was granted a ten year reaccreditation.
