Supporting and promoting a variety of sustainability projects and initiatives
Sustainability Council Projects
The Sustainability Council helps support and promote a variety of sustainability projects and initiatives at Prescott College, many initiated by students.
Calling all students, staff, and faculty who want to make Prescott College more sustainable--help us walk our talk by proposing a project to be considered for funding. You could receive a Sustainability Council funding award for your sustainability project. These projects must directly advance social, economic, and ecological sustainability here at the college. This is a great opportunity for students to receive funding for your Senior Project, Demonstration of Competence, or other course work.
The Sustainability Council has allocated project funding for 2012 to help launch the Sustainability Reinvestment Fund. All proposals for the 2012 academic year must be focused on efficiency or renewable energy projects that will result in cost savings to the college over time; these cost savings will be invested back into the fund for future use.
Further guidelines and information will be available to those individuals with interest.
