Sustainability Fee

To identify and direct resources at solutions

Bathroom Tile and Antique Bottle Wall,

This is a per term fee added to tuition billing as a way to support the sustainability elements at the core of the College mission.  Increasingly, members of this community are asking that the College focus more attention and resources on the sustainability of the operation of the college itself.  This has been clearly articulated in and supported by the Prescott College Strategic Plan, the Operational  Values Statement, the Sustainability Council mandate and many other guiding documents.

We recognize that in order to “walk our talk” we need to not only change behaviors and processes, but we also need to identify and direct resources at solutions.   In response to student and faculty requests, $50 from every student each semester is allocated to funding for the Sustainability Department as well as student, faculty and staff initiated projects that are selected by the Sustainability Council.
