Equine Adventure Club

Horses welcome interaction with people from diverse backgrounds with a unique brand of unconditional curiosity and acceptance.

Centaur Leadership Services (CLS) operates out of Chauncey Ranch and provides programming for the equine-based courses here at Prescott College. CLS is now offering the opportunity for students interested in riding and playing with horses to participate in weekend activities at Chauncey Ranch. This club welcomes horse lovers, experienced equestrians, and those of you who would like to learn. No experience necessary! Possible activities will include trail rides, arena work (walk, trot, canter), English riding, western riding, jumping, dressage, mounted games, driving the Haflinger team, Parelli’s seven games, bareback riding, applying ground work to obstacles, grooming, and just hanging out.

This is a great opportunity to meet new people, learn new horse skills, and have fun! Horses welcome interaction with people from diverse backgrounds with a unique brand of unconditional curiosity and acceptance. These interactions continually serve as educational platforms for lifelong learning. This club provides a service to the equine members of Prescott College as well as self-fulfillment to the student members. Not only will this club provide experiential learning opportunities but it will also support community-building recreation.
