Capital Campaign
Improve the Campus Community by Supporting New Initiatives
Prescott College has several exciting new initiatives in progress.
The College is developing a "new campus commons," a beautification and reorganization project designed by students, faculty and staff. The area will provide a central location for outdoor classrooms, student interaction, yoga, activities and much more in a serene setting with native plants and gardens. Don't miss an opportunity to support this campaign, details will be coming soon!
The College has undertaken a $8 million project to develop on-campus student housing for up to 104 students, which is expected to improve new student retention and success. The proposed project consists of 13 new multi-story townhome style apartment units, for up to eight students in each three-level unit, and one staff unit for the Director of Residential Life. Weddle Gilmore Architects and Haley Construction Company have been contracted to work with a college-wide Steering Committee on design and build stages of the project. Construction is expected to start in spring of 2011 and be completed by fall of 2012. Are you interested in supporting this project, contact the Office for Institutional Advancement?
