Q: Why is Alumni Participation in the Annual Fund for Academic Excellence important?

A:

In addition to the invaluable support the Annual Fund for Academic Excellence provides for the college, many see the Annual Fund as a barometer of the state of the College. Many foundations and other grant making organizations consider size of the Fund and the percent of alumni participation as a means of measuring a College's stature and stability. College guidebooks and recruiting organizations see the Annual Fund as an indicator of alumni satisfaction. Alumni who support the Annual Fund for Academic Excellence at any level help support the internal operations of the College and augment all of the College's outreach activities.
