Interactive Television Classroom
Interactive television (ITV) represents the convergence of interactive technology and television which allows the exchange of information between the sender and the receiver. In the context of a classroom, the instructor and students can interact with each other just like a traditional class, and students can see students enrolled in the class at other locations.
Prescott College recently completed construction of an interactive television (ITV) classroom to broaden our reach to students in our limited-residency programs and at additional locations, as well as to invite experts, practitioners, and passionate learners from the wider world into our campus community. Developing further use of this technology and installing similar equipment at our additional site in Tucson is anticipated.
