A doctoral mentor is an adjunct faculty member who serves a student in a variety of ways in the 2nd through 4th phases of the student’s enrollment in the Ph.D. program.During the 2nd phase (2nd year) of the program, students complete 4-6 focused, independent studies totaling 24 semester credits per academic year (maximum of 6 credits per course and 12 credits per semester).
