Prescott-Area Partners
Partnering with local higher education institutions
Even with a modest population, Prescott is home to two additional institutions of higher learning, along with an ecological design institute and a massage school. Prescott College's partnership with these organizations allows students an even broader offering of classes that complement or enhance their educational path without leaving town.
Yavapai College
Yavapai College, the local community college, offers a range of courses that supplement the on-campus undergraduate program. A significant number of students combine courses at the two institutions through a consortium agreement while maintaining their full-time eligibility for financial aid at Prescott College.
Ecosa Institute
Ecosa Institute, an ecological design institute located in Prescott, partners with Prescott College to offer one semester of courses toward the Ecological Design competence. Founded in the belief that design based on nature is critical to the search for a new design philosophy, Ecosa provides more comprehensive green-building knowledge than traditional architecture programs.
Arizona School for Integrative Studies (ASIS)
Prescott College students may receive credit and certification as a massage therapist through completion of a three-month summer course through our partnership with ASIS, an outstanding Arizona massage school. Students explore human anatomy and physiology, hydrotherapy, and a wide variety of massage modalities, all while heightening their sensitivity to the human soul.
Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University
Currently, the College is negotiating with Embry-Riddle to create a mechanism for student exchanges. This would provide Prescott College students access to an increased number of science and higher level math courses.
