Learning Goals
The Limited-Residency Undergraduate Program reflects the Prescott College Mission by being committed to offering a challenging and transformative liberal arts education through which learners discover their unique purposes in life in a way that serves with integrity their natural and human communities. Designed specifically for the working adult, the Limited-Residency Undergraduate Program degree path incorporates self-directed learning, individualized curriculum design, community-based independent mentored studies, classroom work, online courses, library research, and field experience to produce graduates who are competent professionals ready to serve their home communities, and beyond. The degree requirements are designed to balance experiential learning with academic study of the philosophy, theory, and practice that informs the arts, sciences, social sciences, and the helping professions.
