WHO'S WHO? WALT ANDERSON, THAT'S WHO

Walt Anderson, a professor of Environmental Studies at Prescott College, is listed in the 54th, year 2000 edition of "Who's Who in America," the country's leading biographical reference source, available this month. In addition to being an educator, Anderson is an artist, photographer, author, and international expedition guide. His most recent expedition, a safari to Tanzania, East Africa, with three members of the Prescott community, focused on natural history and conservation.

Anderson's work has appeared in numerous magazines and newspapers, including the New York Times, American Forests, Nature Conservancy and Woman's World, and he is the author and illustrator of "The Sutter Buttes: A Naturalist's View" (1983). He currently has a book-in-progress titled "Sky Islands of the American Southwest: A Natural History" for the Smithsonian Institution Press. Anderson has lived in Prescott with his family for eight years.
