Karlyn Haas, communications director at Prescott College, received a newcomer
scholarship to attend the Council for Advancement and Support of Education
(CASE) conference in San Francisco, Calif. in December. CASE is an international
association that helps members advance the cause of education. The scholarship
is awarded to professionals in the advancement field for less than three
years who express a high degree of motivation, potential in the profession
and strong communication skills.
