We are excited to offer a campus housing option for incoming Prescott College students. Located just across the creek from the center of campus, the Agave House is an eleven bedroom, five bath home housing up to 16 students in a communal living arrangement. The house is furnished with loft beds, dressers and closets in individual rooms and couches, chairs and tables in the common areas. Students are responsible for their own bedding, linens, towels, lamps, media and special cooking equipment.
There is a full kitchen and dining area where students prepare their own meals. The College provides basic pots, pans, dishes and flatware that students are welcome to supplement. In addition, there is the option of purchasing a meal plan from the Prescott College Café where breakfast, lunch and snacks are served Monday-Friday 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Other amenities of the Agave House include wireless internet throughout, cable outlets in individual rooms, a designated quiet study room with College computers, card-operated washer and dryer, central house phone for local and calling-card calls. Bicycle and automobile parking and limited gear storage are available. Smoking is not allowed inside and pets, alcohol and drugs are prohibited in Prescott College housing.
The Fall 2008 room rates are $2,020 for a single and $1,700 for a double; for the academic year (Fall 2008 and Spring 2009), the rates are $4,040 for a single and $3,400 for a double. Utilities (water, garbage, sewage, gas, electricity, wireless internet and cable) are included. Academic year occupancy dates are August 23, 2008 - May 11, 2009. There is a $150 housing deposit. The priority application deadline is April 1, 2008.
