The Enrollment Calendar and list of all college holidays is maintained by the Prescott College Office of the Registrar.

There will be changes to the Prescott College calendar as of Summer of 2009.

MAP Academic Calendar

This calendar includes all academic dates, such as the due dates for study plans, colloquium narratives, and other items that must be submitted to the MAP Office; the recommended mailing dates for study packets; dates for residencies; etc.

Here, as a PDF file are visual calendars for MAP.

It is of utmost importance that students stay on top of the qualifying packet, thesis plan, and thesis deadlines, since each one must be completed before the next can be undertaken. Deadlines and procedures for each graduation requirement are explained in the student handbook as appropriate. Using this visual calendar can make it clearer how these requirements have an impact on each other. The end result is that in order to enroll for the final semester of thesis development, the student must have an approved qualifying packet and thesis plan in the MAP Office.

The MAP faculty see flexibility and meeting the individual needs of students and advisors as one of the cornerstones of this program—however, it is important to remember that extreme fluctuation from suggested timelines can result in the student needing to take no credit or take an incomplete to complete the program requirements or the thesis, or may delay the planned graduation. Students are encouraged to review and discuss an individual and appropriate timeline with their advisors and to have regular check-ins, which can ensure that all work be completed in the time expected.

If there are questions or concerns about meeting these deadlines, students should contact their MAP advising assistant.
