Students at Prescott College get opportunities to explore their world when they study abroad. All of our programs provide an interdisciplinary perspective, allowing you to make connections and solve complex problems. In addition to the opportunities listed below, students can also take part in one of our university exchange programs for a semester and take advantage of the study abroad opportunities available at their host university. For decades, Prescott College faculty and students have been developing long-term relationships with communities around the world. Current students are able to benefit from these strong ties and rich shared histories that provide unparalleled learning opportunities.


Explore the environment, culture and history of Norway by taking an Explorations of Norway Nature and Culture course or study at the University College of Southeast Norway for an entire semester while living in a small Norwegian village. Learn more.

Kenya - Maasailand

Spend your summer working alongside the Maasai people of Kenya. Through The Maasai Community Partnership Project, Prescott College students can participate in activism led by Indigenous community leadership, learn from the perspectives of Maasai people, and be part of grassroots work for social change. Sonora, Mexico - Kino Bay

Study at the Prescott College Kino Bay Center in Sonora, Mexico, where you’ll get opportunities to explore the marine life while also learning about the indigenous communities that call this region home.  Classes offered at the Center include an interdisciplinary array of topics in marine studies, conservation biology, natural history, ecology, Spanish, art and cultural studies. In addition to the programs listed above, students have other opportunities through courses and independent study that take them to places such as Costa Rica, Guatemala and Canada.
