Hours of Operation
During the regular semester, the Crossroads Café is open Monday through Thursday, 8:30am to 3:00pm. During Block the Cafe is open 7:30am-3pm. Summer hours are normally 8:30am-3:00pm. The surrounding community is always welcome to visit and enjoy the food.
The Crossroads Café provides students as well as the surrounding community with fresh, healthy, affordable food prepared simply and sensitively. The goal of the café is to not only serve great food, but to help educate the College community about the roles that food plays in environmental, social justice, and nutritional issues. Meals/Specials: Come Check the daily breakfast (Served All Day) and lunch (11:00-close). Ongoing specials include soup & salad bar for lunch, smoked BBQ, and quesadillas and burritos. Smoothies are 100% Juice!
Community Lunch: Prescott College Catering provides a free Community Lunch for all of Prescott! They start every Wed. during the regular semester at 12:30pm. Community Lunch does not occur while the campus in on Holiday/Summer/Block.
A Learning Environment
The Café is a learning environment exploring the interrelationship between who we are, where we are, and what we eat. The Café is a resource for Prescott College and the community which:
- Encourages, facilitates, and displays student projects
- Works with faculty to enhance course content
- Teaches kids' cooking workshops that are healthy, hands on and fun
- Provides culinary training and work experience for our student population.
- Stimulates exploration of the relationship between human nourishment and the environment
Our Meal Plan
A Prescott College meal plan allows students to pay in advance for tasty, nutritious meals in the Prescott College Crossroads Café, assuring a healthy diet and more time to spend on their studies. Student meal cards, which function as debit cards, allow students or their families great flexibility in planning ahead for the cost of meals.
The Crossroads Café provides students with fresh, healthy, affordable food prepared simply and sensitively. The goal of the Café is not only to serve great food, but to help educate the College community about the roles that food plays in environmental, social justice, and nutritional issues. The menu changes daily and uses local, seasonal, organically grown, and sustainable foods whenever possible, prepared in traditional and innovative ways.
