Intersections of Social Justice and Learning
Based on David Kelleher’s experiences working as a change agent in Africa and South Asia on gender issues, he will discuss global challenges of social justice and sustainability. David will highlight the roots of social justice and examine modern expressions of social justice, with a special focus on gender equality and applications to climate justice. Drawing primarily from his participation with Gender at Work David will guide the audience through a framework of four dimensions of change, and methods to address each. Stories and analysis from 20 projects highlight transformational processes that unfold from the wisdom in spiritual, cognitive, relational, and action learning. In the spirit of lifelong learning, dialogue, and collective activism, contributions from the audience is encouraged.
