Deborah has worked as a counselor, program director and consultant. She managed inpatient substance abuse and eating disorder programs in Houston and Virginia, working with both adolescent and adult populations. She had a long-standing psychotherapy practice in the Sedona, Arizona area, maintaining contracts with private industry and government agencies. She provided corporate trainings on sexual harassment, violence and substance abuse in the workplace. She worked with small employee groups to assist in enhancement of team performance. Deborah has also worked extensively with military populations, working to restore families to healthy functioning while being able to understand the effects of PTSD and other stressors specifically related to military service. Additionally, Deborah developed a specialization in neurofeedback, training with a pioneer in the field, Dr. Margaret Ayers. She has treated hundreds of patients with diverse neurologically-related disorders, as well as substance use and mood disorders. Her doctoral residency was specific to assessment of developmental disorders within an adult population. She also has expertise in the assessment and treatment of Autism Spectrum Disorders for all ages. Deborah has worked extensively with children, adolescents and adults throughout her career, which spans over 30 years.
