Scholarships and Fellowships: $5 Million

Scholarships and Fellowships: $5 Million

Exceptional students come to Prescott College for its clear commitment to self-directed, experiential learning focused on the liberal arts, the environment, and social justice. To attract even more outstanding and diverse undergraduate and graduate students, we need significant funding for scholarships and graduate fellowships.

Graduate fellowships will draw greater numbers of students to Prescott College’s master’s programs and flagship Ph.D. program in sustainability education, making us more competitive with other research institutions. Funding for both scholarships and fellowships will attract and help retain promising students who would otherwise be unable to attend college. Endowed Faculty Positions and Programs: $5 Million

Endowed Faculty Positions and Programs: $5 Million

With a low student to faculty ratio in all programs and individual mentorship as a key component of the Prescott College pedagogy, our students benefit from a distinguished faculty who engage, guide and mentor them on a personal level not often seen in traditional institutions of higher education. Endowed chairs and professorships will continue to attract outstanding scholars and researchers to the College who in turn will attract additional talent—both among faculty and student ranks.

Endowment for programs is also a priority that will benefit faculty professional development and research. Being an experiential college, we need to constantly incubate new programs to ensure the quality and relevance of our curriculum. Dedicated endowment funds will help ensure continued improvement and growth of our offerings.
